The Research Imaging Collaboration Office Year in Review

The Research Imaging Collaboration Office (RICO) was established to review and manage industry-sponsored studies requiring radiology imaging services at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  

RICO commemorated their two-year anniversary on January 11th, 2024. Within the past year, RICO helped achieve the department’s goal of increasing funded research studies with radiologists, technologists, collaborating departments, and sponsors. Since its establishment in 2022, RICO has continued to grow and expand the number of accepted proposals, committee members, and involved participants that make research all the more feasible for the department.
